I Love WA

So I've got approximately 10 days left in this place and I'm getting a little antsy. I don't really want to leave, but at the same time I really want to take a nice warm bath (with lots of shampoo), finish watching that Korean Drama (Lobbyist) online, sleep in a real house, and eat lots of GOOD food.

I smell like an overused ashtray.
I look like a dirty villager.

Oh yes.

Last weekend I went to Seattle as usual, just to get away. Unfortunately, while we were away, somebody (or some people) came to our deserted campsite and went through our things.

The person, or people, obviously thought themselves very smart because they put everything back to their places. Everything except a knife which we noticed was out of place immediately when we got back to the campsite.

My head was thrown into a state of semi panic because I VERY STUPIDLY left my passport, greencard, and a lot of cash in an envelope in my luggage, which, was very innocently lying in the tent.

You have no idea how hard my heart fell at the moment when opening the lid of my suitcase, I saw the zipper of my secret compartment open.

Thank God nothing really important was taken.
However, out of the two 100 SGD bills that I had, one had mysteriously vanished. Probably into the wallets of some weirdo who neglected to steal the rest of my USD.

My heart fell a lot further, but I was immensely relieved that my passport and greencard was safe.

NEVER AGAIN, will I be so stupid as to leave my important things around unattended.

That said, the weather here has been too beautiful. Blue skies everyday, clear clear river water, and lots of cute little animals running around. No bears or cougars though... sadly. I've been wanting to see another bear lumbering up the road when we're driving.

There'll be a LOT of pictures to upload when I get back to PA.
LOTS AND LOTS!
